Sketching at the Port 2

Again at the Maritime Museum of Rotterdam. I drew a whole panorama this time. Behold:

What you see here is an old floating steam powered gigantic "vacuum cleaner". Of course it was not used for cleaning, but to vacuum grain/liquids from sea boats to river boats.

The whole picture took about 5 hours to complete. I went out 3 times. The last time they moved this machine a bit further away, but luckily then I just had the background left to work on.
